  • Is it better to send pet(s) by ground or by air?  Air is better. A few hours in the air opposed to a few days traveling by ground is much better.  Airline accidents compared to automobile accidents are drastically less, making air travel safer.
  • Where do pet(s) travel in the aircraft?  The airlines have special sections in cargo for animals where the temperature and pressure is the same as in the cabin.
  • Are pet(s) stressed from airline travel?  Pets usually curl up and go to sleep until they arrive at their destination.  It is over quickly and they are happy to be back in their owners arms.
  • What is the temperature where pet(s) travel onboard the aircraft?  The same as in the cabin.
  • Is it pressurized in the compartment where pet(s) travel?  Yes.
  • Is it dark where pet(s) are while in flight?  Yes, they usually go to sleep.
  • What sort of container will my pet be transported in? Your pet needs to be shipped In IATA Airline Approved travel crate.
  • Can I put bedding into the travel box?  It is best if they have something they are familiar with, such as the owner’s shirt or something with the owners scent on it. For international shipping only shredded paper is allowed.
